E-bikes are categorized into three different classes (and we carry all three!).

Class 1

Class 1 E-Bikes are pedal assist only, and have a maximum assist of 20 mph.

Class 2

Class 2 E-Bikes have a throttle, and have a maximum assist of 20 mph. 

​

Class 3

Class 3 E-Bikes are pedal assist only, and have a maximum assist of 28 mph.

Pedal assist vs. Throttle 

On pedal assist bikes, the motor only engages while the pedals are in motion. On an e-bike with a throttle, the motor can be engaged whether or not you are pedaling.
